BRIEF
To create a luxurious bathroom that felt like a private retreat — calm, indulgent, and atmospheric. The client wanted a space that captured the essence of a high-end spa while maintaining warmth and character through layered materials and refined detailing.
Design
This spa-inspired bathroom combines rich tonal contrast with tactile finishes to evoke serenity and sophistication. Deep charcoal tiles establish a dramatic backdrop, their natural texture adding depth and dimension. Board-on-board panelling introduces warmth and a subtle sense of craftsmanship, while brushed brass fixtures lend a timeless touch of understated luxury.
Lighting was designed to soften and enhance the mood — wall sconces and diffused glows highlight the textures and materials, creating a cocooning, tranquil atmosphere. Every detail, from the placement of fittings to the balance of light and shade, was chosen to encourage slow moments and relaxation.
The result is a deeply restorative space, layered with texture, tone, and elegance — a modern sanctuary that feels personal, grounded, and indulgent.
